Central Park I & II are located on the northern edge of New Songdo City’s Central Park, forming a gateway to neighborhoods in the city’s northern district. The design is marked by six 50-story residential towers rising above an urban street-edge of three-story commercial space. The residential towers take advantage of southern exposure with woven, lattice-like facades of glass and aluminum providing unique interior spaces and views for each unit.
The design of the block utilizes landscaped courts, minimizes footprints of the retail and towers, and creates landscaped roof gardens on each of the low-rise buildings, accessible from the residential towers
as amenity spaces.
Central Park I & II was a joint venture between Gale International, Posco E&C, and Morgan Stanley.
BGI’s responsibilities included Master planning, contract negotiation, budgeting & underwriting, capital formation, design & construction management, and marketing & leasing.
